If you missed the State of Play earlier in the week (you can catch up by looking at our September 13th State of Play Breakdown), you not only missed the first proper trailer for the highly anticipated PS5 game God of War: Ragnarok, but also the reveal of the limited edition controller that is releasing alongside the game on 9th November. See the icy blue DualSense in motion in the product reveal trailer below.

What is the God of War: Ragnarok limited edition PS5 controller?

The God of War: Ragnarok limited edition PS5 controller is a cool two-tone blue. The face button segments are a darker watery blue while the rest of the controller is a pale icy shade. On the touchpad is an image of two howling wolves. Clearly one represents Kratos and the other Atreus. Both are in the visage of Fenrir; the mythological wolf who is said to bring Ragnarok in Norse mythology. Could the fact that Kratos and Atreus are represented by wolves indicate that they are the bringers of Ragnarok in the game? Is this controller hinting at plot details, or am I just looking too much into it? We’ll find out in November.

How much does the God of War: Ragnarok limited edition PS5 controller cost?

No price has been announced for this awesome-looking controller, but it definitely won’t be cheaper than the standard DualSense RRP of £59.99. If you weren’t already aware, the fancy collector’s editions of God of War: Ragnarok have already sold out, so it stands to reason that this exclusive controller will fly off the shelves as well. Pre-orders go live on September 27th, so if you definitely want this controller (and I don’t blame you), you’ll want to act fast when that date rolls around to avoid disappointment.

Pre-orders are now live from GAME as of the 27th of September! So you can check stock and get the best PS5 controller price when it's available. All pre-orders for the God Of War: Ragnarok DualSense controller can be found below
