Item was advertised as brand new & sealed, but arrived open and the box was damaged. The seller said they perform “quality checks” on some stock. I paid the brand new, full RRP, price for an opened (potentially used) item. I contacted the seller asking for a partial refund to reflect the actual condition of the product. They declined, but offered to provide full refund if sent back. Couldn’t be bothered with the faff. I kept the console, and took the loss. Very frustrated and feeling mugged off.

Hi, the item purchased was a brand new console & had been opened for inspection which is performed on a small number on items. The request for £100 refund was rejected because the item is not a refurbished console as such it was listed at the correct price. The item could have been returned for a full refund but I can see from the correspondence you decided against this as it is in good condition & is working. Apologies for the disappointment caused.
