The sixth game in the long-running Monster Hunter series, Monster Hunter: World promises to be the biggest adventure yet. Taking many of the features that have been introduced and refined over the past five games and combining them, Monster Hunter: World presents an immersive RPG experience.

As one of the eponymous hunters, you must traverse a vast open world setting in order to both kill and capture particular monsters in the name of research. Fourteen different weapon archetypes enable you to take on monsters in the style that suits you best. No matter if you like to get up close and personal with a melee style weapon or prefer to use stealth and a long range bow, the choice is yours.

You also have the option to team up with friends online who also own the game to take on the world together. The world itself incorporates various different ‘areas’, each with their own unique ecosystem and selection of monsters to track down.
