Forza Horizon 4 arrives tomorrow, amid a flurry of critical praise and to the delight of UK-based petrol heads everywhere. Set in various locations across Britain and featuring dynamically shifting seasons, Horizon 4 is the best way to race through the countryside and cities in a supercar without ending up with a driving ban.

Currently, the lowest price we’ve spotted for a physical copy of the standard edition of the game is £39.00 – not bad for a AAA game that’s part of a very popular series. However, today we’ll be helping you get a different type of gaming deal than what we typically do.

Recently, Microsoft launched their Xbox One Game Pass initiative. Despite getting some very good press and interest in dedicated gaming circles, the scheme’s finer details – which we’ve covered in an advice post – may have passed you by.

Essentially, it’s a Netflix-style streaming equivalent for gaming. For a monthly subscription fee – currently £7.99 – you gain access to a hundreds-strong library of games. However, while Netflix often takes a few months to get access to the latest blockbusters, Game Pass does a great job of offering some major games right away.

This includes a number of major exclusive titles, including Forza Horizon 4. You’ll still need enough space on your hard drive to download the game, and as with Netflix, if your subscription lapses, you’ll lose access to the game.

As well as major new Xbox exclusives, Game Pass comes with a huge selection of backward compatible Xbox 360 titles, as well as a selection of Xbox One titles, including DOOM, Rocket League, Fallout 4, The Division and Wolfenstein: The New Order.

Not only that, but Game Pass comes with a free 14 day trial – so if you’re still on the fence, about Game Pass or Forza Horizon 4, you can try completely risk free. You can buy a one-month subscription here.
