E3 week is undeniably the biggest of the gaming calendar, as developers go head to hear in order to make the biggest splash with a new title. 2018 will be no exception. With no major hardware announcements expected, this year will be all about the games.

That means that there's going to be so much to take in that it'll be difficult to keep up with it all. On this post, we'll be posting constant updates about what has been announced and any details we've got.

EA - Saturday, 7PM

  • Anthem, EA's major new shooter, has open world gameplay shown for the first time, and gets a release date: February 22nd, 2019

  • Battlefield V, previously announced as releasing later this year, will be getting a battle royale mode
  • FIFA 19 will launch later this year, and will come the Champions League license, which previously belonged to Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer

  • DOOM Eternal, a sequel to the highly successful 2016 reboot of DOOM, is announced

  • Starfield is announced, a "next generation" RPG. Whether that means the game won't see the light of day on the current generation of consoles, or if it merely represents a step forward, we don't know
  • At long last, we get confirmation of a sequel to Skyrim, The Elder Scrolls 6. All we know for now is it won't launch until after Starfield, so it could be a long way off yet. Until then, you'll have to content yourself with playing Skyrim: Very Special Edition, now available on Amazon Alexa, Etch-a-Sketch and smart fridges
