First official confirmation about Call of Duty 4 remaster?

Yesterday, the Call of Duty official Twitter account sent out a tweet with two emojis that all but officially confirm the rumours of a Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare remaster.

Long consider the best game in the franchise, fans have been calling for a remaster for as long as the latest generation of consoles have been around and it looks like they may get their wish. While the tweet on its own doesn’t make sense, it was sent in reply to this tweet from way back in December 2014:

A leaked image on Reddit has also suggested when we may see the remaster.

A pre-order card for 2016’s Call of Duty, rumoured to be called Infinite Warfare, shows that the ‘Legacy Edition’ will include the Modern Warfare remaster with it, with the release date set to be November 4th.
