Prepare for Black Friday 2021 offers and deals:

Black Friday looked a bit different this year thanks to COVID-19 restrictions in the UK throughout November, but there were still loads of Xbox deals to be had and it's business as usual for Black Friday 2021. Admittedly, because the Xbox Series S|X next-gen systems are still relatively new, you can bet that it’ll mainly be Xbox One console bundles that will be deeply discounted. Still, since all forthcoming Xbox Series games - like Halo: Infinite, Back 4 Blood and more - will also play on Microsoft’s last-gen system. Now is a particularly good time to enter the Xbox eco-system in any way you can.

Xbox deals will be running rampant across a range of UK retailers in honour of Black Friday 2021. Whether you’re an existing player looking to upgrade your current console model or want to pick up a bargain on that Triple-A game that’s stayed at its RRP, we at Console Deals have put together the following guide to make you aware of how Microsoft is planning on handling the biggest sales event of the year.

Below you’ll find some early Black Friday deals relating to Xbox, as well as our advice and recommendations about how to handle November 26th if you’re a current or prospective Xbox player. There’s plenty to look forward to.

Early Black Friday 2021 Xbox Deals

What Black Friday 2021 Xbox Deals should you expect?

The major discount most purchasers will want to keep an eye on is the one made to the Xbox One S. Now that Microsoft  has officially discontinued the Xbox One X last year, the One S is the only last-gen Xbox console on the market and in production. During previous Black Fridays it's been known to dip down to as low as £150 at some retailers, which is just over £100 off its longstanding £249.99 RRP. Obviously, for this year it only makes sense to think that the One S will see a similar deep discount for Black Friday 2021. Prospects of this happen are even more likely since the next-gen Xbox Series S|X is now already out. Will we see either the Xbox Series S or Xbox Series X's prices slashed on November 26th? If not that, expect to see a lot more Xbox bundles of greater value.

Black Friday 2021 will also introduce some deep discounts to a range of Xbox One and Xbox Series games, all of which have suddenly become more valuable since almost every game works on both generations of consoles at the moment. So if you’re an Xbox One player worried that buying games this Black Friday would lock you into the last-gen platform, for instance, think again. First-party Xbox One games like Halo 5Sunset Overdrive and Quantum Break successfully carry over. The same can be said for most third-party releases, though don’t expect any of Xbox Series S|X’s titles to see the same degree of significant discounts.

To some players, though, drastic offers on Xbox games won’t mean a thing if you consider that almost every Xbox exclusive game is currently available on the Microsoft’s Game Pass streaming service. That being said, subscriptions to this service should also be discounting in honour of Black Friday 2021. A typical year’s membership costs in the region of £100, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see Xbox offer 25% off that to stay competitive with Nintendo and PlayStation.

Which UK retailers will have the best Black Friday 2020 Xbox Deals?

Retailers will be taking Black Friday 2021 festivities primarily online this year, which means that most major UK retailers will be taking part in some shape or form. GAME, Currys PC World, Amazon UK and Smyths all obviously have a big internet presence, and we at Console Deals will be here to collate all the best offers into one handy place. All of the retailers mentioned will be trying to stay competitive with one another by each featuring distinct offers.

If the Xbox One S does fall as low as £150, expect this to be the established Black Friday 2021 price across the board. However, retailers will try to remain distinct from one another by making unique bundles. Xbox One and Xbox Series bundles are definitely what you’re most likely to see in this regard. A good thing too, as this is the best way to maximise your value: get a console with a game and/or Xbox Game Pass subscription.

Our bespoke price comparison tech helps us stay on top of all the best deals from almost every major UK retailer. That’s why anyone eager to enjoy the best Black Friday 2021 Xbox deals should absolutely keep it locked to our Black Friday page portal, where you’ll find all the best offers relating to Xbox and otherwise. Our last bit of advice would be to have an idea of what you want to buy before heading into Black Friday 2021. That way you won’t feel the need to impulse buy and can maintain a close eye on the offer that you want.
